  1. Cursor Options

  3. To further customize your Mac, AutoMenus Pro allows you to set a custom cursor for making menu selections. Your custom cursor will appear when ever you place the mouse pointer in the menu bar and select a menu. AutoMenus Pro includes several cursors to choose from, however, you are encouraged to design your own and distribute them!

  5. To enable custom menu cursors, check the "Use Custom Menu Cursor" check box.

  7. Setting The Custom Cursor

  9. You can set the cursor options by pressing the "Set" button located just below the "Use Custom Menu Cursor" check box.

  11. The cursor that is selected in this list is the cursor which will appear when the mouse pointer is placed in the menu bar.

  13. To select a cursor, place the mouse pointer over the cursor you choose and click once (or you can double click the cursor to select the cursor and dismiss the dialog all at once).

  15. To remove a cursor from AutoMenus Pro, press the "Delete Cursor" button. AutoMenus Pro will remove from the list the currently selected cursor.

  17. NOTE: Deleting cursors is not undoable. So, once you delete a cursor, its gone forever!

  19. Importing New Cursors

  21. Press the "Import" button to import other cursor resources into AutoMenus Pro.

  23. After pressing this button, you will be presented with a standard file dialog. Choose the file which contains the cursors you wish to import and click "Open". Only files which contain 'CURS' resources will be displayed in the open dialog.

Once the file you choose is opened, you will see the cursor picker displayed. The cursors on the left side are those belonging to the file you just opened. Any cursor you move to the right, either by clicking the '>>>' button or by double clicking the cursor, will be imported into AutoMenus Pro after you press the "Import" button. Press "Cancel" to exit the cursor picker and leave AutoMenus Pro unchanged.
